Fungus Control

Improving lawn care practices is the best way to treat turfgrass disease. If dealing with a fungus that thrives in moist environments, adjust the watering regime to prevent excessive moisture. While fungicides may help control severe infestations, they are most effective as preventative measures. A healthy lawn with minimal thatch buildup and aeration is less hospitable to fungus. For lawns with a history of fungal disease, applying chemical fungicides preventatively can be effective.
